Shannon Marie Stafford, 41, Puyallup, WA passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011. Shannon Thrasher was born in Tucson, AZ on October 2, 1969 to Natasha A. Kim and James R.Thrasher. She was raised in the Southeast Valley of Arizona. Shannon wed Staff Sergeant Rik Stafford on June 17, 1995 in Mesa, AZ. She was the loving mother of two sons, Patrick Thrasher and Derek Stafford. A devoted wife and mother, Shannon dedicated her life to her family and friends. Shannon’s generosity of spirit, contagious laughter, and fun-loving personality were a blessing to all that were fortunate to know her. She is survived by her husband Rik, her sons Patrick and Derek; her stepfather and mother Wendell and Natasha Kim; her father and stepmother James and Wanda Thrasher; her siblings Donald Kim, Kalon Thrasher, Brinton Thrasher, Kyla Thrasher, and Ben Simco. A Memorial Service will be held at 6 PM Monday, January 17, 2011 at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel located at 6747 E. Broadway Rd., Mesa, AZ.
