Shirley May Coppens, age 93, of Handy Township, Michigan, passed away on July 31, 2025. Born on July 27, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Ray Clark Winegar and Florence Bennett. She was preceded in death by her siblings Phillis Jean, Joan, Robert Lee, Myron Eugene, and Dorothy Lou Winegar; her husband Jack E. Coppens; former husband Robert Edwin McCarrick; and son-in-law Clarence Allen Reynolds.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband Ernest F. Wilkowski; her children Kevin Michael (Lori) McCarrick and Kelly Michelle Reynolds (McCarrick); stepchildren; her grandchildren Matthew Dale (Jenni) McCarrick, Megan Amber Guidry, Ashley May Reynolds and Logan Michael Reynolds, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing.
