Victoria M. Hoffman, 76, of Avondale, passed away peacefully at Palm Valley Hospice of the Valley in Goodyear, Arizona. Victoria was born to Jose and Felipa Manlapaz in Manila, Philippines on December 23, 1936. She stayed connected to her heritage by indulging in Novella a popular Filipino channel. She loved to party and dance but most of all Victoria loved to eat. Every family gathering she was the first one to suggest going to a meal. She worked at Power One on the assembly line until 1986 when she retired at 50. From that time on she was devoted to her family. Victoria is survived by her three children; Rudy (Elisa) Tolentino, Joy (Julian) Manansala, and Victoria (Alfredo)David; six siblings Amparo Manlapaz, Adelina M. Lagasca, Jose (Gaye), Benjamin (Eva), Manuel (Libertad), and Amado (Madolin) Manlapaz; as well as eight grandchildren Julienne, Christopher, Crisianne, Christian, Carla, Calvin, Cheena Marie, and Caldrian. A loving mother and Grandmother Victoria Hoffman will be missed by her family and friends. A service will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Friday July 12, 2013, time of service is still to be decided.
