

Major (Bill) Hodge was born in Timmins, Ontario, Canada to William B. and Dorothy Hodge.
He served faithfully as a Salvation Army Officer in several appointments in Canada and the Western Territory in the United States until his retirement. He lead by example, working long hours day after day in his service to the Lord. He loved music, encouraging the saints, and poetic prayers. He was a faithful servant and led many to faith in Christ.
He married Marjorie Francis Stewart in 1955. After 62 years of marriage Marjorie passed away on January 20, 2018.
Bill is survived by sons David, Peter, Andrew, Mark and daughter Cheryl, 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
His favorite Scripture wasProverbs 3:5 and 6.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him and he shall direct your paths.
Bill is resting in the arms of Jesus till the day the trumpet sounds and we shall all meet again in the place our Savior has prepared for us.
The family will have a private home-going Committal service on Saturday. A memorial service will be planned when it is safe for people to gather and a Salvation Army band can play.
