Zachary Ryne Moore

Zach was born on 3/10/1990 in Rockford Illinois to Karen (Franzen) Moore and Kevin Moore. He was a 2008 graduate of Desert Edge High School (Goodyear, AZ) and ITT Technical School (Austin, TX), where he earned certification in Computer Networking. In 2019 he moved back to Arizona and began working at Zen Leaf Dispensary and was later promoted to assistant manager. He loved his job helping customers and building long lasting friendships.

He was known for his easy going personality and had a smile and laugh that were contagious. He loved the great outdoors, riding his quad in the sand dunes and fishing and snowmobiling up North. Zach was always up for a game of pool, throwing darts or playing cards with family and friends. He was an avid sports fan and followed both the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. He cherished his dog Chip and loved his other animals.

He will be deeply missed. Zach is survived by his wife Chelsey Moore, stepson Joshua, mother Karen Moore (Arizona) father Kevin Moore, (Texas), sister Tiffany (Matt) Buss, brother Jacob (Jessica) Moore.

A special mention to Kaleb (Nick) Gustafson and Lucy (Len) Dalzell, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 4:00 p.m. 4:00 5:00 p.m. reflection and refreshments on Friday 7/25/25 at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson Road, Mesa 85202.

A celebration of Zach’s life will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday 7/27/25 at the Scottsdale Elks Lodge 6398 Oak St., Scottsdale, AZ 85257. All are welcome, please dress casually.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to your charity of choice in memory of Zach.
