David John Brinkman, 50 years of age, passed away on 8/7/ 2018 in Mesquite, TX. He was born on February 7th, 1968 in Virginia Beach, VA to JoAnn S. Duckworth Brinkman and Marshall Dorn Brinkman. David was raised in Virginia Beach, Lonaconing, and Cumberland, MD, and lived most of his life in Mesquite, Texas. He graduated from Mesquite High School in 1986, and attended Southern New Hampshire University, where he was pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In September, 2014 David married Stella Brinkman. Together, they have 5 children. David worked in the lawn care-landscaping industry and loved his job. In his spare time, David enjoyed spending time with family. David will always be remembered as a loving man with a big heart by his family and friends. His family was his life. There wasn’t a day that went by that David wasn’t thinking of being with his family. His sense of humor and the way he loved to joke around made the time you shared with him such a wonderful adventure. He never met a stranger.
David was preceded in death by father, Marshall Dorn Brinkman and mother, JoAnn S. Brinkman. He is survived by his wife Stella Brinkman, children Brandon, Breannah, Bailea, Ashley, Jacqueline Brinkman, and Justin McCown; Grandchild Kanon Wade Brinkman, sister Brenda Brinkman, Sister and Spouses: Marsha and Mike Valencia, and Lorie and Mike Floyd, his brother and spouse: Dorn and Linda Brinkman, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many other family members and dear friends.
He is the son of Hugh H. Brinkman.
