Dennis "Denny" Bishop

Dennis “Denny” Bishop passed in peacefully in his sleep at the age of 66. He was born on March 20, 1953 in Dallas, TX and died on January 28, 2020 in Dallas, TX. Of course, this is why he was a huge Dallas Cowboys Fan!

He is preceded in death by his mother- Dorothy McMahon, his father- Bob Bishop, and Brother- Billy Bishop. He is survived by his daughter- Shelly Poole, son in law- Conrad Poole, son- Dennis Bishop, daughter in law- Kathryn Bishop, daughter- Marsha Sikes, son in law- Cliff Sikes, brother- Garry Bishop, sister in law- Sarah Bishop, his grandchildren, Denver, Blake, Brooke, Braedon, Persy, and Hudson and several nieces and nephews.

Denny was a loving Dad and Pa-Pa. He was very proud of all of his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly remembered for serenading each one of his kids (and their spouses!) and grandkids on their Birthdays. He never missed a Birthday!

His grandkids meant the world to him and he sure loved to joke around with them about their parents. Every time he saw or spoke to any of his grandkids, you could feel the amount of love he had for them!

Denny was always a good friend and was always up for a good ol’ Griff’s burger or some good biscuits and gravy! He thought Shelly’s gravy was the best!

To get through this tough time of not having him here on Earth, we think about all the wonderful memories we had with our Dad. We love you forever and always!
