Dennis Vernon Redfearn, 67, of Mesquite, TX passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at home in Mesquite. He was born in McKinney, TX to the late Stuart Redfearn Richard Blayney and Madelyn Rogers Redfearn Blayney. Dennis was raised in Rylie, TX and graduated from Spruce High School in 1966. He then moved to Mesquite where he spent the rest of his life. He worked for Southern Pacific transportation for 26 years and was a proud lifetime member of the Teamsters Union Local 745. He then operated his own business framing pictures. In his spare time, Dennis enjoyed hunting, watching college football, and collecting stamps. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Christi Steele and husband Toney Schmidt; sons Tom and wife Bethany Jordan, Jeff and wife Rebecca Redfearn; grandchildren Dakota and Cheyenne Steele, Jennifer and Brian Jordan, and Miriam Redfearn sister Tracy and husband Brad Carr; brothers Troy and wife Paula Blayney, David and wife Debbie Redfearn; as well as his numerous loving nieces, nephews, and other friends.
