Jimmy Haz Hipp, age 90, of Dallas, Texas passed in peace on Sunday, March 14, 2021. Jimmy was born April 25, 1930 in Randolph, Mississippi. He joins, in Heaven, his wife of 51 years Elizabeth Ann Priddy Hipp, and parents Cordie and Lalian Hipp. He is survived by his children Julia Ann, Jimmy Haz Jr., David (Dee), and Steven (Maxy). Jimmy was blessed with 16 grandchildren, great and even great-great grandchildren.
Jimmy attended and played basketball at Mississippi College. Jimmy also proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. After his military service he attended New Orleans Theological Seminary where he became an ordained Southern Baptist Minister. Through his many years of serving the Lord he brought many people to Christ.
Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was quite an arborist, avid bird watcher and enjoyed nature. He loved country music and traveling. Jimmy will be missed by his family and friends.
