Karlene Hughes-Cobb of Mesquite, TX passed away on September 23, 2015 at the age of 65. Karlene was a dedicated Premium Auditor across her long insurance industry career, most recently with Chubb Insurance where she worked since 1995. Karlene was a joy to all that knew her, spending her time selflessly helping others during their times of need. She is survived by her brother; Ronald Lee Hughes and wife Linda Joe Hughes of Longview, her nieces; Wendy Dawn Smith, Shannon Leigh Hughes, and Amy Nicole Taliaferro, her nephews; Ronald Blake Hughes, Damon Taylor McCain and Mitchell Ross McCain, as well as numerous of great-nieces and nephews. She was widowed by her late husband, James Doyle Cobb in 2006. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 2:00PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Mesquite, TX. Family will be receiving friends on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home.
