Born October 19, 1947 in Dallas, TX. Passed away December 7, 2014 at home in Ft. Worth, TX where he resided since 2007. Preceded in death by parents, Irving Matthews, Sarah Bourland Matthews and brother Richard Matthews. Michael was an advertising photographer and former magazine and newspaper writer and editor. He was the host and originator of the The Family History Show on KRLD from 1994- 1999. He is survived by brothers Gary Matthews and Ted Matthews; four nieces and two nephews.
