Robert Allen Womack, 77, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026 surrounded by his family.
Born January 16, 1949, in Athens, Texas, to George Wilson and Norine Virginia Womack, Robert learned the value of hard work early in life. At just 10 years old, he began working alongside his father on construction sites, helping with masonry work — a foundation that would shape his lifelong career.
In 1970, Robert started his own masonry business and became a highly sought-after and respected artisan in the Park Cities area of Dallas. His craftsmanship, integrity, and attention to detail earned him an exceptional reputation. In 1997, he expanded his entrepreneurial spirit by founding a pressure washing and sealing company, which quickly became just as successful. Advertising was never necessary — his name and his work spoke for themselves.
On June 13, 1980, he married the love of his life, Susan Daniels Womack. Together they built a life filled with laughter, family, and enduring love for over 45 years. Robert was a proud father to three amazing children and a devoted grandfather to seven cherished grandchildren.
Robert will always be remembered as a fun-loving, entertaining man who could make anyone laugh. He was rarely seen without his familiar plastic glass with a straw in hand — a small trademark of a man who truly knew how to enjoy life. People loved being around him. His warmth, humor, and larger-than-life personality drew others in effortlessly. He was also a devoted dog lover and was never without one or more beloved canine companions by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Robert Allen Womack Jr.; and his sister, Georgia Hanssard.
He is survived by his devoted wife of over 45 years, Susan Womack; his son Sean Womack and wife Michelle; his daughter Robyn Luther and husband Stephen; and his beloved grandchildren Madison, Mila, Weston, Harper, Adeline, Mason Allen, and Trace. He is also survived by his sister, Jerrie Williams and husband Willie; his nephew Jeff Mandeville and wife Kara; his niece Stephanie Ridley and husband David; his niece Ryan Lynn Burleigh and husband Michael; and his nephew Jay Daniels.
At Robert’s request, there will be no service.
If your heart so desires, you may honor his memory by making a contribution in his name to your local animal shelter or rescue organization.
He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever celebrated.
