Mesquite – Willie E. (Bill) Copeland passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Cambridge Court Assisted Living Facility. Mr. Copeland was a resident of Mesquite, Texas for more than 40 years and a member of Mesquite Church of Christ. He played music for more than 80 years of his life. Music was his greatest passion. Bill Copeland and the Texas Playboys played Country Music throughout the DFW area for most of those years. In the final 2 years of his life he was a resident at the Cambridge Court Assisted Living Facility.
He is survived by Daughters - Linda Parrott, Brenda Green, Sheila Smith and Sister – Ethel Mae Heddin. He is also survived by 3 Generations of Grand Children, Great Grand Children and Great - Great Grand Children. He is preceded in death by Parents – W. B. and Annie Copeland, Brothers- Jack, Pete, LeRoy, Sister -Anna, Wife-Erna Gay and Son- Roger
