Bernard "Bernie" George Miramon Sr. passed away peacefully in his home in Pass Christian surrounded by his family on Saturday evening, August 13, 2022. He was 91 years old. Husband of the late Joan Hartdegen Miramon. Father of Paula Huff (the late Paul), Penny Vicari (Jake), Bernard Miramon Jr., and the late Pamela Michel and Peggy Duplantier. Grandfather of eight, great-grandfather of fifteen, and great-great grandfather of one. Also survived by his companion, Andrea Stewart. Son of the late Dr. George Miramon and Marie Carbajal Miramon, and brother of the late Charles Miramon, Gustav Miramon, and George Miramon. Bernie was a native of New Orleans and has been a resident of Pass Christian for over 40 years. He retired as a Sales Engineer from Tricon Metals. He was an active sportsman, and enjoyed golf, fishing, and hunting. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at LEITZ-EAGAN, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, on Friday morning, August 19, 2022 at 11:00.
