

Bertha “Bea” M. O’Neill, 88 years, went home to Jesus May 18th, 2012. Born on February 7th, 1924 in Marion County Mississippi, Bea was a resident of Kenner, LA for over 30 years and also a loyal parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She moved to Sugarland, Texas in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina destroyed her home.
Bea was an iron fist in a silk glove. She was hard working, strong, stylish and sassy with twinkle-in-the-eye humor. Bea was a professional Real Estate Agent in New York State, Miami, Florida and The Greater New Orleans Area for decades. She was an accomplished seamstress and a gourmet chef. Her greatest joy was cooking for her family.
Bea was preceded in death by her parents Ellis and Geneva McNabb, her sisters and brother and by her beloved husband of 35 years, Joseph O’Neill.
Bea is survived by her only son Jeffery Alan Case, her three grandchildren, Cindy Case Davis and husband, Jeff, Melissa Case and Jeffrey Case, Jr. Her Great-Grandchildren, Trey, Meredith and Paige Marie Davis.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11:00am.
