Bertha Marina Bardales Davila passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the care of her loving sister on Friday morning, May 29, 2015. She was 67 years old. Loving mother of Fernando M. Davila III (Laura Johnson) and Julio Davila. Sister of Luis Bardales (Rosemary), Sonia Del Cid, Gilberto Bardales (Lupe), Marco Tulio Bardales, Maria Victoria Torres (Jorge), and Manuel Delgado (Luz). Daughter of Gilberto Bardales and Maria Delgado. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bertha was a native of Puerto Cortes, Honduras, and moved to the New Orleans area in her early twenties. She retired as an executive assistant from M. G. Maher & Company. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family and friends, who will miss her dearly. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 12:00 noon.
