Carol Ann Dares

Aged 69 years, born in Panama City, Fla. Daughter of the late Patricia Wester Bonnet and Leon M. Bonnet.

She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, Elliot “Pete” Dares and her children, Shelley P. Vathy (Mike), Elliot “Pete” Dares III (Danielle) and Michael Dares (Bonnie).

Sister of Leon Bonnet Jr. (Theresa).

The love of her life were her grandchildren, Jeremy and Lindsey Vathy, Samantha, Caroline, Cypress and Bishop Dares.

She will be remembered for her love of family, friends and life

Mrs. Dares was a Parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church and Shrine, a member of St. Ann Rosary Group, St. Ann Bible Sharing Group and the St. Anthony for the

Poor Ministries. She retired from Campus Federal Credit Union after 25 years of dedicated service.

The family would like to express a special Thank You to the nurses and staff of St. Joseph Hospice for the compassion and care that was shown to her and her family.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Wednesday January 15, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and then followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ann Catholic Church.

Interment will be in St. Louis Cemetery #3.
