Cleona Mary Klein Boyer, age 87, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Boyer. Mother of Andrew “Dru” James Boyer, Sr. (Neela). Grandmother of Andrew “A.J.” James Boyer. Jr. Daughter of the late James Edward Klein, Sr. and Theresa Victoria Strohmeyer Klein. Sister of the late Mildred Selma Kay Prattini (Joseph William Prattini, Sr.), Theresa Mary Stamant (Butch Stamant, Sr.) and James Edward Klein, Jr. (Earline Rita Pratt Klein). Aunt of E.J. Gonzales, Jr. (Cindy), Joseph “Joey” Gonzales, Sr., Margaret Giroux (Joseph “Joe” Giroux, Sr.), Carolyn Daly Juster (Larry), Eileen Daly Curlee (Kenny), Kathleen Daly Donegan (Mark), Fi Daly and the late Mickey Daly, Jimmy Daly (surviving wife, Anne) and Billy Daly. Cousin of Rosemary Hooter and Mike Mancuso. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Boyer retired from F.W. Woolworth and Company after 47 years of employment. She was a member of the Dealing Divas for many years and was a former parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Saturday morning, July 28, 2018 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
