Daniel "Danny" Joseph. Guillot, age 56, of Destrehan, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024. Danny was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is survived by his son, Cody P. Guillot; stepdaughter, Stefanie; mother, Fready Fontenot Guillot; sister, Tammy Guillot; nephew, Zachary Aschenbremer; two great-nieces, two great-nephews, and many beloved cousins.
Danny earned his degree in machine work at Delgado University, in the oil and gas industry. He always enjoyed working on anything mechanical, like his motorbikes when he was younger and his monster truck later in life. A true Cajun by heart, he enjoyed all that the Cajun heritage had to offer. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana, at 1:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, Louisiana.
