Edward Moore Colley Jr. "Earl"

Edward Moore Colley, Jr., age 64, passed away peacefully at his home in Kenner on February 10, 2018. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Kenner, LA for the past 35 years. He was married to the love of his life Janet Kluchin Colley for 45 years and was the beloved father of Michelle Anna Colley and Paul Edward Colley. Son of the late Edward Moore Colley and Ada Strickland Colley. Brother of Laura Colley Moran and Ann Elizabeth Colley. Brother-in-law of Vernon Moran, Jr. and Steve Kluchin (wife, Kathleen). Also survived by nieces and nephews – Kelly, Evan, Elise, Bryan and Brent. Mr. Colley was a retired fleet mechanic for FedEx Air and was a current employee of Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts.

Ed, who was affectionately known as “Earl”, will be sorely missed by all his family, friends and associates. He was a great cook, funny guy and avid Saints and LSU fan.

Relatives, friends and employees of FedEx and Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Friday morning, February 16, 2018 beginning at 9:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM.
