He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marion Egloff Lott, his daughter Ann Lott Bockmeyer, husband Jeff Bockmeyer, son Edward Lott, Jr., and his granddaughter Katherine Lott, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Eddie, also known to friends and family as "Big Ed," loved his family with all his heart. He grew up in Pass Christian, Mississippi, and graduated from Pass Christian High School. Eddie served in the Mississippi Army National Guard and the Army Reserves. In his younger years, he volunteered at St. Philip Neri, Brother Martin, and Chapelle High Schools. He enjoyed working on the chain gang for Brother Martin football games and coaching the Dixie Youth baseball teams at Girard Playground. Eddie loved the Saints, and College baseball and football, even though he was torn between Ole Miss and LSU. His love for Ole Miss was overwhelming, but he really enjoyed watching LSU, except when they played each other. He was a Hotty Toddy for sure!! Big Ed had a huge passion for hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He was in Collections for many years and retired as VP Collections Manager from Crescent Bank & Trust.
The family would like to thank Serenity Hospice, Dr. Michael Rooney, Dr. Carrie Marquette, and Dr. Jessie Gills for their exceptional care and compassion.
