Emma H. Sutherland passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. She was born on April 28, 1921 in Trujillo Colon, Honduras to Zacarias and Mercedez Hernandez. She was widowed young to William Sutherland. She was one of 6 siblings.
She was a life-long resident of Old Metairie. She is survived by her sister Georgina, her children Simon, Jorge, Lithia and Lilia, 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was deeply loved, respected, and valued. She will be missed, but will remain ever present in our hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Westchurch Church of Christ, 1202 West Church Street, Hammond, LA 70401.
