Eunice Fox Fontenot

Eunice Fox Fontenot of Terrytown, LA died on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the age of 69. She was born in 1942 in Kirby, Arkansas, the only daughter of Dale Fox and Ethel (Golden) Fox. Her parents and her brothers, Marvin and Rowland Fox, preceded her in death. She lived in the New Orleans area since 1960. For many years, she held positions at a local CPA firm and an investment counseling firm before retiring in her 40' s to return to college where she earned, with honors, a B.A. in journalism. Mrs.Fontenot was a published author of numerous articles and poems, plus a full- length genealogical book. She is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Fontenot, several cousins, lots of friends and Blackie the Cat.
