Mrs. Florence Hernandez Horn

Florence Horn, age 84, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011. Mrs. Horn was a native of Black Lake, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA. Beloved wife of the late Alois “Ike” Horn. Mother of Alois “Al” Horn (wife, Debbie), Brenda Simpson (husband, A.J.), Stephanie Horn, Gwen Turner (husband, Mike), Charlene Horn and John Horn (wife, Gina). Daughter of the late Atanacio Hernandez and Mary Trichel Hernandez. Sister of Felix and Mike Hernandez and the late Julie Salinas, Theresa Salinas, Jessie Tatewell, Lorena Horton, Pete and John Hernandez. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Horn was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Wednesday evening, November 2, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Thursday morning, November 3, 2011 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
