Floyd Christopher Bangs Sr. passed away on Thursday afternoon, October 20, 2016. He leaves behind a loving wife, Marialdina Bangs, and family. Floyd was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, and a dedicated employee of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office for over 15 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass from ST. BENILDE, 1901 Division Street, Metairie, on Monday morning, November 7, 2016 at 10:30. Visitation will begin at 10:00 in church. Inurnment will be private. The family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to Dr. Lois Maillander and the nursing staff at East Jefferson, who selflessly cared for Floyd during his illness.
