Frances Martha Dugas

Frances Martha Uhlich Taranto Dugas, died March 8, 2011 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Donald Joseph Dugas and former wife of the late Joseph J. Taranto, Sr. Daughter of the late Gottfried Frederick Uhlich and Martha Gertrude Toepfer. Mother of Estelle Taranto Todaro (Biagio Todara, Sr.), Frances Josephine Taranto Clark, (George Clark, decd), Paul Dugas, Sterling Dugas (Donna), and the late Bruce, Joseph, Vincent and Cathleen Taranto and Martha Wagner. Sister of Lawrence Uhlich, Clara Estain (Jack) and the late Gottfried, Asa, Louis Ulich and Martha Estain. Grandmother (Bambi) of 39, great grandmother of 50 and 4 great great grandchildren. Loving wife, mother, and grandmother, loved to cook, sew and had a green thumb. Her patron saint was St. Jude.She will be sadly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank Chateau Living Staff and Hospice. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 12:00 noon with visitation at 9:00 am. Interment in St. Martin de Tours Mausoleum, St. Martinville, La. to follow.
