Hey Mama!!

I know its been awhile since I've visited this page but your FB has a few visits from me. *sigh*...  Well I guess you already know what's new but I'll tell you anyway. Drake will be starting school August 12; he'll be in 3rd Grade. Smh he's growing up on us, lol. I've had a few dreams of you but nothing recently. I miss you sooooo dang much!! There's not a min that goes by that I don't think of you. It's almost 1 year & I still can't believe it. It feels unreal!! :( .. I just want to be able to hug you one more time. I want to be able to hear you say I love you. Yeah you would fuss at me but I know you knew I could always do better. I remember those random moments when we would turn on the radio & dance together. Those RANDOM MOMENTS is what I miss the most!! I miss & love you!!!! :'-( :'-)

hey Frannie, its getting close to that one year mark but all is good bc you and Mama gonna be with me on that day to see what we having, you better make sure its a boy for me ;) really miss yall right now.

Been thinking about you everyday, but for the past week, and especially this past week-end, you were every thought during every moment of my waking hours. I guess it's because i was off and you'd usually be over for dinner...
Ah, I just never got enough of your visits, and your company; You never got "old" for me! I never took you for granted, but somehow, I still feel like I didn't show you enough! But, I know that's not true..... but, I still feel that way...
I can't wait until they finish fixing the grub up so I can go there and eat and just remember that that was your 'spot'! I enjoyed every lunch date there with you, and I so deeply miss those times! I sometimes wonder if you ever really knew how much you really meant to me.. Did I show you and tell you enough? Lately, I don't think I have, in fact, I want to shout it out so loud so that I know that you hear me all the way up there in Heaven! 
I enjoy the few times you come in my dreams, and even though I wish you'd come every night, I kind've like the fact that you only visit when it's on your time, and never when I ask....it makes it more real to me, how you just pop up like that. Man, I miss you so freaking much Ma! I just miss you saying my name, smiling, laughing, talking trash, and being as jazzy as you always were. Thanks for so many great memories and so many good laughs! I can never get over losing you, and can't wait to see you again, but I have to walk my path in life til God calls me back to Him and you!

Hey Ma! I am missing you so much right now. It's 1:23 in the morning and I'm at work right now, almost time to get off and head home. I'm at my desk with my candle lit, looking at your picture in the frame, dreaming of days gone by. I miss hearing you, your voice, the way you said my name, the way you yelled at Man-Man (lol), the way you would almost curse at Terry for scaring you, and the way you laughed. I just miss you so much. Your sounds. Your presence. Your plastic bag you carried all the time with all your snacks in it, hanging from the kitchen chair, or from your arm, with the boys rummaging in it to see what goodies you had. Once they figured that out, Lol I swear, I thought you'd never have enough treats, but you always did. And they were always begging..... So many things I just miss about you. I close my eyes daily and remember you. I visualize you, your voice, you calling my name, "Mart". I can hear it when I do that. I'm terrified that I'll forget the way you spoke. That's a true nightmare for me. I tear up at the thought that I could forget the way you talk, or laugh... I never want that to happen. It's too frightening to even think about. But I close my eyes and there you are, I hear you. I know I'll never forget you, but what better way for the devil to torture me, right? It feels like just yesterday, I was listening to you; in the house, through the phone, on our lunch dates... Just yesterday I had you. And I knew I had it all... What do I do without you? I'm truly trying to go on, in your memory, and in your honor. I smile for you. I laugh for you. I exist for you. I share your memory so that you shall LIVE! But then I'm alone, and I don't have you. I'm lost. I'm sad. I'm dead inside sometimes. I know I'll see you again, when it's my time, and I don't want to say I can't wait for the day...I mean I love life, and my children, I just miss you so much, and am anxious to see you again. But, I must do what I have been called to do on Earth, til my time is up. Then I'll truly hear you again. And maybe I'll laugh at myself for ever feeling blue that you were where you are, waiting for me. I love you, and miss you every second of every day.

Hey Ma! I love you and miss you o very much (I'm beginning to sound like a broken record!) But, I decided to take a detour while I'm working on a case to come drop in and tell you how much you are truly missed! :-( I struggled to speak any words about you as I spoke with Terry about you this morning. I can't think about you without my eyes filling with tears, but it's okay, it's just a sign of how much you mean to me. I'm confused as to the empty void I feel though; It's similiar to the emotions you have when your first love breaks up with you, except without the remorse or anger. I tremble if I think about you too deep, if I focus too much on the loss I feel, and the continued loss of not having you here on off days to go to the park with, or like Terry said, to go celebrate for my promotion. I know you'd be the first one picking the eat-out spot :-) I miss those days so very much. They're absolute treasures now. It's my favorite memories of you, and the one thing you taught me that I value most because you do make the best memories with family around a table of food. I miss your presence so much, I sometimes need to scream it out loud! I miss you my love.

Hey Frannie, just wanted to stop by and say hey Gabie really likes her new school, the building is soo huge! My house is coming along really good. The floors are all finished you would like my floors. Next we are going to paint the walls, still fussing over the colors for all the rooms but the kitchen so do me a favor and haunt Allan and make him see that I'm right and his colors are ugly lol. OO and btw we are having a baby, but you already knew that right. ;) Miss you and my Mom so much right now it just sucks. Hey my love! I have been yearning to come leave you a message here, but keep settling for FB because that's where you always were :-) And oh, how much I miss you here and there! I've been feeling so much better since I let go. I'm doing it for you, and I know you so well, so what's said doesn't matter to me, because I know you, and I know you leaned on me for this. I miss you so much!! I finally went home this past Sunday. It feels so weird to be at home without you. I open my eyes every morning hoping that these past 2 months was just a dream. I went to WinnDixie the other day just for eggs & breadcrumbs. I came out the store with a bunch of bags, smh lol. I think back to the times when I would sit in the car, waiting for you, & you would be in the store for 2 hours, lol. I remember seeing you come out & you would say they had stuff on sale, lol. *Sigh* I miss you so much! I cry everyday. Drake is doing good & he is still hard to wake up in the morning, lol. I really want to see you, so I can hear "I love you" one last time. I miss you every morning, all through-out the day & especially at night. Well my baby, I love & miss you much! :'-( :'-)

Hey mama,

I know I haven't visited you in awhile, it's hard to visit. When I come to talk to you all those memories come flooding back. I realize the memories never left. There are so many of them that come back at one time, I start crying & get a headache. That's ok though, that's when I can feel your spirit so much more around me. Today I am bringing Drake to get his hair cut, & I know you'll be there. You see, everywhere I go, you are there. I am so grateful for the many memories that I am left with everywhere I go. I am just trying to figure out how to go on without you. I feel like I am standing still & everyone else has gone on with their life. Each day passes so fast, I dont know how to take the next step in life. I need you next to me, so you can tell me I am making the right decision. I stil cant fathom how you managed life with 6 kids & hardly any money. I feel like I cant do it with 1; I would have broke. I now know how strong you really have to be, to be a mother. I love you very much & every day, hour, min, & sec is spent missing & loving you.

Missing you is an emotion that is so incredible, I can't even begin to describe it. It's like that time I couldn't find Precious out on the Lake. I remember you saying how frantic I was, and how she was just right there with us....How things happen so quick. We were amazed then, and laughed later when we found her in the Port-O-Let...LOL... I imagine this is just like that.... How quick you left...How it's left us here running around like chickens with our heads cut-off.. How it feels like there's nothing left to live for, no more smiles to be had, no joy without you here, and it's just hard to find the desire to even try. But I imagine that when our journeys are done, and we see you again, we'll roll on the clouds laughing at ever feeling this way to begin with :-). You own my heart, and you literally broke it when you left. You own my happiness, and I didn't even know you did, til you left. I thank God for my children because I'd feel I had nothing left without you. They keep me focused and grounded. Their presence has contained love and happiness within me. But when I'm away from them...when I'm alone, I struggle to find the will to want to smile. So many things I want to share with you and can't in this world... So many things I miss. I'm longing for your visit...like I told you during our phone call on August 3rd, our last conversation ever...I needed to see you. You promised me that we'd see each other tomorrow... That was August 4th, the day that started the entire episode of losing you. I deeply want to hear your voice, see your face, hear your laugh, see you light up watching the kids and Jamie wrestle.... I so miss your Facebook posts, and seeing you with your head down in your phone while you're Facebooking :-) But I have a feeling...that I'll see you again, and when I do, I'll feel like a fool for ever wanting you to be here instead of there...

Hey Mama....I'm just sitting here, again...missing you, again... I don't know how to do this thing called life without your guidance. I'm preparing to take a promotional test at work Friday, and all I can think of is you, and how much I want you here to see me pass it. You deserved to see that standing beside me! But, it's okay...for you I'll do it, I have to. Just for you...because it's what you'd want. But man, Mama, it's so freaking hard... I reached into my top drawer to get my deodorant earlier..you know I keep it there because the kids'll take it lol....but I reach for it and there was your necklace that Jamie gave to me...you know the one I gave you for your birthday this year..with the footprints on it..It was in it's box, but it was right where I had to reach, and when I picked it up to move it aside, I wanted to cry. In a simple moment like that, while reaching for deodorant, here I was holding something of yours with tears in my eyes, thoughts of you in my mind, my heart picking up the pace, and my breath feeling like it's being sucked from my soul...Just like that... I just long to see you.. I sit at the table looking for you, and while I can still picture you there, I don't see you. I look to the loveseat, where you'd be sleeping :-) and yearn to just see you there so comfortable, with no worries. You'd be full of whatever dinner we prepared, and comfy enough to fall asleep in the middle of us talking and walking back and forth, arguing, and Drake and Blaze having a running war right over and around you :-D I really miss your presence here my love...I truly and deeply am lost without you.

I wanted to call you but I remembered you left your phone in the world and id just get no answer. So how is heaven treating you? Oh, not as good as being here with your loved ones but its an awesome place just as well, thats great to know! So God is really good at yahtzee huh? I think back to the days we played, it was me vs the brehms and I swear I may have beat yall once or twice out of 100+ games, oh those were the days!! I will never forget the moments we shared. I will never forget the muffler, the $1 you gave us everyday to get a quarter juice and those chocolate cupcakes with creme filling from the corner store, us giving you hell and how you handled it, im sorry now that i have kids. Id die if they disappeared for a week, i will never know how you did it but I have always known how much you love us. That alone is why I chose to be a good parent, seeing how you sacrificed everything for us. I hope I make you proud and even tho u arent here i know you can see me so I will continue to do my best for you. Well, have fun playing yahtzee and eating at all those heavenly restaurants and please, do not feed Jesus when hes fasting...and dont say you wont try to bc I know you!! I can see you now, fan aiming from the kitchen to his room while the chops are baking!! I bet they are getting a kick out of you, just how funny and fun you are to be with and how loving you are, its almost unreal but you do it well!! Its just your natural gift to astound people and impact their lives so greatly, angels are definitely no exception!! I cant imagine how big your palace is up there but even if i get a floormat i will happily sleep on your lawn just to be close by! I love you with all my heart!

It feels so good to read a post from an unknown person on your guestbook. It really makes me feel good that you meant so much to someone else (talking about Dying inside). I feel the same way too...dying right here on Earth. The loss is so great. They say God will never give you more than you can bear, but I'm close to collapsing each and every day. I cooked dinner for everyone before I left for work today and while I was prepping everything I began to talk to you. I prepared meatloaf, and it was you and Grandma that taught me how to make it. So as I was getting it ready to go in the oven I realized that the entire time I was talking to you, I was looking at your usual chair at the table as if you were still there. I just paused and looked at your spot for a moment, just missing your face, your responses, your expressions at a meal in the making that you couldn't wait to grub on lol. I miss all of that so much, and then the thought came to me....that I never took a moment for granted. Not one moment, not one chance to see you, speak to you, cook for you, sit and talk with you, not one.....and it still hurts just as bad if not more than if I had. I thank you for guiding me, raising me, for being my Mama. I love you for the grandma you were to my children, your grandkids. I know they feel sorrow and loss, and I know their burdens are greater than mine, but I see you in them. Your words, your deeds are still alive on Earth. Therefore, we live, love and laugh for you and your legacy. You were one in a million. A diamond in the rough. You were stronger than you yourself even knew. And you are loved and missed far greater than anyone could imagine. Love you much and missing you forever & always...

I see you went out to run errands with Jesus, yall dont forget to stop and grab a dining table while you guys are out there shopping and dont forget an extra chair for me so when my time here is done and I come home we can all sit and laugh til we get hungry, then, as usual we can go out and eat! I wonder if they have seafood there at some place? I bet it would be called 'The Pearly Gate Inn'! lol, Oh, I didnt tell you that we miss you being here, you left a deep hole in the world, an empty void in our lives! Only thing keeping most of us together is the fact that we know we will be with you again someday, but wow it seems like its going to be a long wait!! Ok, you have a blast and tell Jesus that I said to not let you overfeed him like you always did us! lmbo, I miss that! You two maniacs have fun!! I love you and cant wait to see you again!

Hey my love. I'm missing you as I write this. I was just sitting here at work, and it's almost time to head home, but like always, and allday, you took over my thoughts. I write on Facebook, I visit your page there and here, just trying to find comfort. I miss you with every breath in me, with every ounce of my heart and soul. I can't focus, and sometimes I can't breathe. I worry about my drives home from work in the early morning hours because when I'm alone that's when the true emotions come forth. I hold back the tears so as not to bother everyone else, or make them worry, and I hate to sound selfish, but I don't want to be bothered during those times. The difficult times. When the grief becomes unbearable. I'll be alright, but I need to let it all out, and the last thing I want is someone telling me it's going to be okay. I know that... But it's not okay. It's just not. I love them for wanting to help, but sometimes, saying nothing is the best way, so I grieve when I'm alone, because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but sometimes I feel like I want to explode. I won't because I can hear you telling me I shouldn't do that lol. Your voice and sounds are so missed. I just miss making you dinner at the table. I miss you visiting, and I miss Terry getting mad because even as you try to leave we continue talking for hours and hours lol. God I miss you so freaking much! And I love you ten times that much!!

Loving you...missing you soooooo much tonight my love. I can't seem to focus on anything else, and I just sit and think how everyone I meet that tells me they lost their mother, even if they lost theirs years, months or days ago, they all have trouble talking about it, and can't even speak without their eyes welling up with tears. I feel like I'm in a special group of people, but I just don't know how to feel special about it. It's hard living without you. I love you for guiding me, and strengthing me, but my God I never knew I'd lose you so soon, and I certainly do not want to go on like this. But, I know you want me to really live, and enjoy life with the kids, and I promise to try my best. It's just so hard without you. I miss you very much everyday, allday, and love you more!

I typed up a very long message to you yesterday, and it was straight from my heart as usual, but this time it was way deeper than anything else Ive typed. It didn't post here because I quoted some song lyrics and didn't realize that you can't do that. I wish the "reviewer" would've just deleted the lyrics but posted the message, but it's okay, because I know you read it when I typed it, and now I can't remember the exact words... But I know you heard me and that's all that counts. So with that, I love you and miss you and smile at the thought of when it's my time to go that I'll be seeing you!

I just wanted to let you know, again, how much I miss you. Your Celebration Service was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed it &  they kept saying how that's exactly what they want when they pass; you would have been so happy. Sunday felt so different when I stepped outside. The atmosphere felt calm & relaxing, I dont know why. I think it had something to do with you & that makes me smile. I love you very much & I appreciate everything you have done for & will continue to do for me. I love you my baby & all I ask is for you to continue to watch over us.

Your Memorial Service was so beautiful. Iit made us laugh, it made us cry, we shared your memory, and it was just a beautiful service for a beautiful person. You deserve so much more my love. We just found more picturess of you so another slideshow will be put together. I love you so much, and wake up missing you everyday.

Although I have not met you I was able to see your light and softheart through your daughter Jamie. Jamie is a wonderful friend to me and made work at academy so fun.. Thank you for giving me such an awesome friend!! Even though u will be missed greatly by family and friends physically around. I know just as well as they do that u will be around spiritually to guide them all for years to come!

It seems we only just found our way back into everyone's lives again. I think back to my youth and all the fun times I had at your house playing in Jamie's little baby pool with her and Kelly. Cutting up with Tommy, Guy,  Marcia and Chris. I will always keep those memories with me and smile every time I think about them. We all miss you and love you very much.

I just wanted to say, if I havent before, I am so proud of you! You fought for & earned everything you have in life. I have experienced every emotion there is over this last month. Today is the day you went in the hospital & a day I will never forget! I love & miss you so much!

Miss you Frances and I will always have a lost in my heart. We had fun playing cards at your mom's house and would stay up late. It was a good thing when we found ya'll again on facebook. Enjoyed the visits that we had with you and Jamie. It was always a fun time with your whole family. I was glad to be with you when it was your time to go home to God. I know that you are happy and with your love ones. We miss you here with us but understand that God had other plans for you. Love and will miss you a lot.

I miss you grandma. You were a great grandma. I know you are happy in Heaven. You are here with all of us. I loved when you gave me showers & scrubbed my back for me. When we are sad, we figure out how to stop being sad. I love you & miss you.

While we never met in person, Frances and I talked on facebook. She and I shared having to deal with the loss of two of our children. Now she has reunited with them. R I P Frances, I enjoyed sharing with you.

Hey Ms. Frances, :) you have known me since I was little and I am sadden that you are away, but am joyful that God has placed you in his arms....you have always been so kind of what i do know and I am grateful that you gave birth to my awesome aunt! Marcia! :) Love you! Tho we didnt talk much, we are still family and I love you and I know that you will always be around :)

Very sorry to hear about the passing of Frances.  I remember her from when I was very young.  I will always remember her going in Lake Pontchartrain and standing there with us for a little while. Very sorry for your loss.  She was a very kind person.

Hey Ma! We're together, weathering the storm....but a hurricane doesnt come close to the whirlwind inside my heart as I think of, miss, and long for your presence. Frannie was/is the type of person you are taught to be when you are little. She was a friendly, loving, caring, lady, who would give you the shirt off her back if it meant that the other person was happy and comfortable. You couldn't disappoint Frannie, and I know. Frannie was funny OMG so funny I can'r think of a time with her that she didn't make us laugh, oh and I loved her driving, that and Sassy. She was the kind of Mother that I hope to be.  she worked hard to make sure no one wanted for nothing and would take trips to the movies, park or out to eat, and heaven help ya if you offered to pay because she would chew you a new one if you did. But I had the opportunity to know Frannie on a personal level and I can say that because of her I am Blessed and a better person to have know her. I'm gonna miss you Frannie who is gonna spell words for me now?? Love you like a Mom, and watch my Moma and Gram they cheat at canasta!!

Grandma,I miss you more than anybody could know. You were one of the kindest women I've ever met and that made me proud to call you my grandmother. I will try to model myself after you. You were truly a saint and I wish you were still here to teach me about becoming a God-fearing woman. Although you won't be here physically as I graduate high school and cross all of these important paths in my life, I can still feel you spiritually all around me and I know that as I go on with life you will be my guardian angel watching over me, rooting me on, until we meet again in heaven. I looked back and saw that the last thing you told me was "I love you". I love you, too. Rest In Paradise Grandma Frances. I will accomplish EVERYTHING for you, in your name, and in your memory. See you soon!! :')

Ms. Frances, though I havent seen you in almost 20 years, it was a blessing know you and your children. Long ago, when life was easy, you and your family had the hardest of times and I think that experience made you and you children what they are today. I'd be proud to call you Mother if you were mine, but there is no higher label we can give a woman than "sister in Christ". Thanks for all the memories and the the children you have raised are a testimony to what kind of person and mother you were.

I am glad I got to meet you and your family. Mrs. Willis may you rest in peace with our savior.
