Frank J. Cali, III, age 68, died November 25, 2012 after a brief battle with cancer. Frank was a resident of Metairie and a retired Marine Biologist. He was the beloved husband of Paulette Switzer Cali and father of Christen Cali VanAsselberg (wife of Chad VanAsselberg). He was the especially beloved grandfather of Aubrey Katherine VanAsselberg. Frank was preceded in death by his mother Sarah Puglia Cali, his father Frank Joseph Cali, Jr., his brother Michael Thomas Cali, and his sister Madeline Grace Cali. Surviving family members include Frank’s sister Carol Cali Delamain, nephews Christopher and Jeffrey Delamain and Michael Cali, and nieces Lauren Delamain, Dana Cali, and Cassidy Cali. On Wednesday, November 28th at Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, there will be a visitation at 10:00am and Mass at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to either Frank’s alma mater Jesuit High School or to The Magnolia School.
