Gaynell Barthe Payne on November 19, 2011. Beloved wife of Andrew J. Payne for the past 39 years. Daughter of the late Renee Estopinal Barthe and Louis P. Barthe. Mother of Frank J. Palmisano, Jr., Penny Smithe (Michael) and Barbara Ginther (Tom). Sister of Margaret “Peggy” Barthe. Grandmother of Michael Arnold, Jr. (Eileen), Melissa Furbish (Josh), Frank and Nicholas Palmisano, Julie Ginther Cilano (Mike) and Jessica Ginther. Great grandmother of Ellie and Elania Arnold, Mya, Ruby and Niko Furbish. Also survived by daughters-in-law, Stephanie Palmisano, Claire Talbot and Marjy Becnel. Mrs. Payne was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and former employee of Blue Cross. The family would like to say a special thanks to Canon Hosipice, especially Joey Williams and Latoya Fields for their kindness and excellent care. Also special thanks to Laura Craven of Home Instead Senior Care for her gentleness and tender loving care. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 12:00 noon with visitation at 10:00 am.
