I have known Jerry since I was 6 years old as we both attended St. Cecilia Elementary School in the 9th ward in 1st and 2nd grade. Then, while attending UNO I joined Delta Sigma Pi and we laughed at us meeting again after all those years. While in college, Jerry and his dad did me a big favor by re-doing upholstery and rear window in my Triumph Spitfire for a really low price. Since college, we have reconnected multiple times. He was a nice guy and will be missed. Brother Jerry, RIP.

Jerry was a new member of Delta Sigma Pi at U.N.O. when I pledged and became a member. He was always friendly and I will miss him & miss seeing him at any fraternity reunion gatherings that may occur. My condolences to his family. May he Rest In Peace.

I only knew Jerry for a short time as a member of Knights of Columbus. He was a warm, giving soul. He will be missed.

I met your son today and he spoke so highly of his dad that I had to look you up online- I mentioned your name to my husband who said that you were a fraternity brother- New Orleans is such a small place-
I wish I had known you during your life- Cars, books and seems like we had similar interests-
Certain that you left a lasting legacy in your family-
Your son is missing you greatly-
I hope you now have peace and enjoy Heaven-

Dear brother Jerry, how you will be missed here on God’s earth, always open-hearted and ready to be part of someone’s life. You reached out to others with such wonderful impact. Your brothers of Holy Cross know this well. You never forgot anyone. Always wanting to share with others, and be part of the truth of God’s love. Thank you HC brother of ‘76. You were an inspiration here with us, now being in heaven to be peaceful with God.

Jerry, may you Rest In Heavenly Peace with your loved ones who’ve gone before you (those who you loved so dearly). You will be missed!! Grant and Amanda, I’m so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was so proud of you both and loved you so very much. He shared many stories about your growing up - the memories he shared brought him so much joy. You were the loves of his life. Mark, Doris and Stacey, I’m sorry for your loss. He truly loved his family and especially cherished the bond the four of you shared. I will pray for all of you to find comfort knowing he is at peace.

It's not the number of days that count but how we choose to live those days. Bringing the Lord's peace and fruits of his Spirit to others was the Lord's plan for Jerry here on Earth. I am sure that heaven is celebrating with great joy for Jerry's return. May God bless Jerry's family and know that the Holy Cross class of 76 Mourns with you.
