Gidget Marie Wright Royes “The Crab Lady”, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018. She was 43 years old. Gidget was born in New Orleans, LA, was a former resident of Metairie, LA and most recently a resident of Mandeville, LA. Beloved wife of Alvin G. Royes, Jr. Mother of Kristyne Moore (Daniel), Krystal Moore (Frankie), Givin Wright, Serenity Royes and Justus Royes. Daughter of George and Geraldine “Gerry” Wright. Niece of the late Althea Dragon “Nanny”. Sister of Garrick Wright and Stephanie Fontana (Frank). Grandmother of Sophia and Stephan Guarneri. Aunt of Ian, Owen and Ethan Wright, Alaina, Ava and Abelena Fontana. Daughter-in-law of Suzanne Royes. Gidget loved her dogs Sirius and Billy, loved marketing and her facebook followers. She will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Friday morning, January 26, 2018 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
