Glenn Peter Marrone

Glenn Peter Marrone passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the age of 59. He is preceded in death by his parents, the late Michael Vincent Marrone and Frances Oddo Marrone. Glenn was lovingly entrusted to his sisters’ and brother’s care following the death of his mother, Frances. He is survived by his sisters, Ursula McGuire, Rose Mary Da Leo and Sharon Bailey (August, Jr.) and his brother, Salvadore Marrone (Faye). He will be sorely missed by a host of nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews, uncles and cousins. Although our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we lovingly return him to the tender embrace of his mother in her heavenly home. The true meaning of love was understood by all whose lives he touched. Our deepest gratitude to the Home Health team of Amedisys, Inc. as well as Notre Dame Hospice. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 beginning at 10:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
