Gregory Patrick Molony

Beloved son of Marie Leonhard Molony and the late Kenneth A. Molony Sr.

Loving brother of Kenneth A. Molony Jr, Karen Molony Smith and Michelle Molony Byrom (and husband, Robert H. Byrom Jr.).

Proud uncle of Ronald Smith, Jennifer Stelling, Jasper and Sarah Byrom.

Also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Greg was a 25 year member of the Kenner Central Lions Club, where he received numerous awards, including the Melvin Jones Fellow Award, a 12 year member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 9347, Charter member of We Care For Special People and a member of the Jefferson Parish Pinnacles Program.

He was a Parishioner of Our Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Church, a loyal Saints fan, and a member of the Special Rollers Bowling Team. Greg will always be loved and remembered by all the many people who knew him.

Aged 55 years, he was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Metairie, Louisiana.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, on Tuesday afternoon July 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.

Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
