Dirty Harry, you were a teacher who walked with both feet touching the Earth. Thanks for the many lessons inside and outside the classrooms.

Harry, I will not say goodbye I will say see ya at the crawfish boil in heaven one day! Harry helped change my life for the good. He always had a way of making the hard time seem a little better. He showed me how to stop that pitty party and focus on helping others. 
Thank you to his family for sharing him with so many. He is not gone he is here in so manys hearts. May your tears be from laughter and your days full of joy knowing he is watching over us from above.

You were like a second dad to me when we lived together. I miss going to the mardi gras parades with ya'll and watching the wrestling matches with you. I was always amazed on how big your fish were. I don't even know where to begin...there isn't a word to describe how much you were loved and just how much you are going to be missed dearly and you were loved more than u can ever imagine...I know you are in a mu h better place but I can be selfish and want you back here...there was never a dull moment with you Mr. Harry....you always knew just what to say to make things seem a little better ...always including me in every family function,  always calling me when u made your famous dip and always inviting me to your famous crawfish boil 's.... those are just a few memories I will carry with me forever....I promise to be there for Samantha, heather, Jacob and all those beautiful grandbabies who loved their paw- paw sooooooooo much....things will definitely be different for a little while but we all know you would want us to carry on and live our lives just like if you were here...I can still hear your funny jokes and your singing "gimme the beat boys and free my soul I wanna get lost in your rock and roll and drift away".... you were one of a kind big harry and you had one of the biggest hearts that anyone would could ever have... those who were family, like family and friends of yours got just a little bit of heaven everyday here on earth.....love you always, Jamie.....

There aren't enough words to ever say how much you meant to those that you shared your life with. As selfish as it is, we as people never ever want to part with our friends or relatives! 

The only thing that makes your departure from this Earth ok, is the fact that you are now in the presence of our creator. 
You have great children and grandchildren that loved you dearly.. I can honestly say that you will truly be missed!

A true friend is someone that stands beside you through the good and bad times.  You were there for me when things were at their brightest and when they were at the lowest. I will never forget the times that we were out there partying and the time that you took me to the AA meetings which help me get my life together so that I could take care of my children. If it wouldn't have been for you, I my not be here today and no telling what would have happened to my children.  You will always be considered to me as a brother and my children have always thought of you as an Uncle.  You always told me to "live life on lifes terms" and because of you I am better for it.  One day I will be with you again, save me a seat up in Heaven with you. Love by many.

Tomorrow we lay you to rest,not too sure how we are supposed to do that considering we never wanted to let you go. I guess I'm being selfish which you have told me so many times before,I can hear u now laughing saying DRAMA,DRAMA,DRAMA,lol. Walking in the house it seems so different,waiting for u to call out our names to see who's there,telling me to get out your chair at the kitchen table and let you sit down,bring u some ice tea w/lots of ice,my personal phone calls inviting me over because u cooked one of my many favs...Veggie Soup,Fried Fish,Crawfish,Crabs,and so many more. Mexican train,dominos,rummy,spades,monopoly,all those family nights that I was welcomed to w/open arms. Ma'Kayla's Smith Birthday Party,years of laughter,advice,constructive criticism,most of all your unconditional love for me and Ma'Kayla,accepting us as your own. I will try my hardest to hold my "BIG WATERMELON HEAD" high,keep all my memories of you stored in a special place inside my heart labeled "Big Harry" and carry on. I love u and thanks for always being there for me!

I'm going to miss you more than I could ever begin to express.  I had this feeling that I really needed to go to Renegades last week and unfortunately I couldn't go.  I now know what that feeling was. You always made me laugh at myself and at my low points when all I wanted to do was give up.  I wish I would've known you longer, and I feel privileged to have been a part of your life for the past two years.  As I sit here and write this, I begin to tear up, you always told me you loved me and I don't hear that often enough.  Thank you for being one of those men of dignity to me. Your legacy will truly live on in the lives of so many you touched.

I am saddened by the loss of a dear friend in "Dirty Harry." May he find another amazing flock of black sheep up above,  to boil crawfish with and of course watch over us all.  Thanks for being amazing, Harry.  So sorry I cannot attend the services.  My prayers go out to the Smith family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Harry's family.  He spoke often of his love for his grandchildren.  Harry was a very special and kind person who was full of life.  He helped many people, myself included.  Harry will live on in the memory of the many, many people who loved him.

You were always a ray of sunshine!  Harry always had something good to say!  As another friend stated he glowed when he spoke about this kids and grandkids!  He loved ya'll so much.  He loved so many and he will be greatly missed.  Heaven has a new very special angel.

I will miss your laugh so much... our daily phone calls and texts, our reminders to each other that Law and Order is on, your surprise visits, me bringing you coffee and our fellowshiping, and mostly, the unconditional love you have always given me.  We have always been there for each other the past 18 years and you are unreplaceable in my life. I miss you so very much already...  As we always closed our texts, "I love you more!"

Over the past few days I have been overwhelmed with gratitude and emotions. The generosity of the members of AA to Harry's family have made me very Proud to be an active member of this great Fellowship. To each of you I say Thank you for being there in this time of need.
