Harriet Jones Goodwin, age 76, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Louis Demar Jones of Logansport, Louisiana, and Mary Jane Ingle of Lockport, Louisiana. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Donald Goodwin from Dyer, Tennessee, who passed away in 2001, and her sister Mary Lee Robert of Lafayette, Louisiana.
She is survived by one son, Michael Shane Goodwin of Metairie; one daughter, Rachel Goodwin Chay and her husband Rory Chay of Denham Springs; one granddaughter, Savannah Lea Chay of Denham Springs; one great-grandson Liam Michael Miller of Denham Springs; one sister, Patricia Soulier and her husband Randy Soulier; her niece/godchild, Jennifer Robert; two nephews, L.D. Robert and Matthew Soulier and a godchild Crystal Domingue.
A visitation is scheduled on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm in the Leitz-Eagan Chapel.
