  Lost my Mom almost 6 years ago and still so often I want to tell her something or ask her a question.  We will always miss our parents.

My sincerest condolences on the loss of your beautiful Mother. She was a very lovely woman.

Our parents were friends (my dad was a lawyer; that probably had something to do with it), so when I was home for vacation a couple of summers ago, Mom (Winnie) and I went to visit your mom. She took us around the house, showing us all the family pictures, the graduation photos, etc. She and Mom kept in touch mostly by phone, and it was I who had the sad duty two years ago of calling to let her know that Mom had died, pretty unexpectedly, on April 21. It is quite consoling for me to think that your mom died on my Mom's anniversary; it is as if Mom were there to greet her!

We just learned of Jean's passing from Danny Boudreaux. So sorry, but we some how missed the obituary. We feel even more sad in that we were not there to pay our respects and to grieve along with all of you.

To the entire Carr family, I know Mrs. Carr will be greatly missed, she was such a nice lady.   I have often thought of her and the judge during the years and wondered how she was doing.  It was an honor to know her even for a little while.

My Aunt Jean,  I loved everything about her. I loved the way she talked, and the stories she would tell about the family. She always called me Honey, i am going to miss that. She was the last of my Aunts. This picture is one of my favorites . I remember looking through our photo albums when i was a child and thinking what a beautiful Aunt Jean i have.
