Jean Kopowski

Jean, truly loved all the people that touched her life, especially those that remember the days on Waterford Blvd., where she was more of a second Mom to so many. Always the gathering place, there were few nights where she wasn't hosting a house full of boys cooking and watching scary movies. Jean will be missed by so many, family members, friends, and loved ones. While she loved so many, her affection for her late husband Bruce Kopowski, who passed in 1974 never lessened. All rejoice that she is reunited with her true love.

She is survived by her son, Leonard Kopowski (Donna), grandchildren, Evan and Katelyn are joined in sorrow by David Henley, Charrisa Henley, Brittany Gilmore, Marrisa Henley, Brayden Gilmore, and Adelynne Gilmore. Special sympathies go out to her bestie Sandy Arbon whom she rarely missed a day talking to or meeting for lunch.

A visitation for Jean will be held Friday, February 24, 2023, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. Ann Church And Shrine, 3601 Transcontinental Drive, Metairie, Louisiana 70006, followed by a funeral mass from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
