Jeanne Chauvin Campbell

Jeanne Chauvin Campbell, age 87, of Abita Springs, Louisiana passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents, the late Edwin Chauvin, Sr., and Ruth Rita Lally Chauvin, her son, James Henry Lee Campbell III, and a brother Edwin Chauvin, Jr. She is survived by her children Lynne Congemi, Paul D. Campbell (Beth), grandchildren, James H. Campbell IV, Shanon C. Mayeux (Justin), Ian Campbell (Staci), and Sara Campbell, great-grandchildren, Hailie and Savanah Waterman, and Major Mayeux, her siblings, Allen Chauvin (Audrey), Raymond Chauvin, and Ruth Bersuder, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeanne was an avid gardener, who loved antiquing, traveling, and cooking. She was devoted to her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm followed by a Prayer Service at 1:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA.
