I'm so sorry for your loss of Jerry. He was a nice man and will be very missed. He always was a friend to me. So sorry!

My Dear Charlen,  Words sound so empty to me when I try to express what Jerry meant to me.  I truly loved that man.  I respected him and I will sadly miss him.  We didn't know that he had passed away, or we would have been at the funeral to celebrate his life and share our love for him with you.  I know your children will help you through the difficult times, but always remember Our Lord is the one that will truly give you strength when you are at your lowest.  Your friends will also want to be there when you feel the need to "share."  Come see us if possible.  Dave and I are praying with and for you.  Love, Thea

Womack family, Jerry was an incredible man and a great person to be around! I told Renee' that he was the first person I ever played in a golf tournament with, I was still in high schhool,sure miss those days visiting with you all. Jerry, I never realized that 30 years ago what an impact that you would have on my and my family's life.  
I want to thank you for being a true friend to Scott and I and a mentor to our sons.  Thank you for the 25 years of traveling to 5 different states with mom to share, celebrate and watch the different milestones in Jay's and Charles' lifes.
I always thought that Scott and I were the boy's biggest cheerleaders; was I ever wrong. You loved our family in every way possible.  You taught our boys some of the greatest lessons in life.
Thanks for going on all the vacations, cruises and trips we made as a family. You may have grumbled but once you got there you always brought the life to our party.
Scott, Jay, Charles and I will always love you with all our hearts.

How we loved jerry!  I loved his deep chuckle of a laugh that was contagious. I loved his devotion to christ. I loved he loved st augustine's church. I loved he loved lsu as much as me which is a whole lot. I loved his smile and his great hugs. I loved his wonderful outlook on life.  He will surely be missed in my life as i am sure he will be in all whose lives that were blessed by knowing him. I never thought i would be jealous of god but i must admit i am that he gets jerry now instead of us, but i know jerry has been curious about heaven and i hope its as grand as his dreams. I find comfort in knowing what a great guardian angel he will be for us.  Hugs and kisses to all his family.

Pops,your finally in the place we all SAY, we cant wait to go. But yet there at your bed receiving the eucrist with you,mom, Bailey& father AJ you said you weren't afraid but excited. I know you were and you were brave & fought til the bitter end.  You will NEVER know what you meant to me as a father and Bailey a grandfather. The lessons and love you gave us will never be forgotten. I love you and respect you for the man and Christian you were..  I know you are watching us and will be in my heart forever. Didn't know Jerry personally, but if he was anything like Richard he was a prince of a man.  No more tears for them now; no more parting.  "Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints."

Danielle and family,

Nothing compares to the loss of a father and husband.  Please accept my family's and my deepest condolences in your loss.  I continue to pray for the repose of his soul,, and for peace and comfort for all of you, who loved him.

May the peace of God, which is beyond all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in the knowledge and love of God, and of his Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ.  And may God grant Jerry eternal rest, and eternal peace.

Jerry, my heart rejoices that you have been reunited with many loved ones already in eternity, especially your beloved brother and my husband, Dick... the last thing you said to me was, "I miss my brother so much, and can't wait to see Dick again, in Heaven!"  But being left behind here on earth as your family & friends, our loss is great and our heart grieves.  We love you and miss you, and pray that we too will be ready when our time comes, so we can see you again one day in Heaven.
