Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Elmer Thornton and Mary Perrot Thornton and his brother, Wayne E. Thornton. He is survived by his brother, William H. Thornton and his former wife, Stella K. Thornton. He is also survived by his niece, nephew, great nieces, relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday January 25, 2021 from 10AM-12PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA.
