John Alexander Bell Jr.

Mr. John Alexander Bell Jr. passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021, at the age of 85. He was born on December 19, 1935 in New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong resident of the greater New Orleans area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Alexander Bell Sr. and Jennie Louise Phillippi, and his brother, William C. Bell.

He is survived by several close friends, whom he considered family.

John worked at Fazzio’s Garden Bowl and Penny Lanes for 35 years. He loved God, baseball, and sharing salvation through Jesus Christ. He cared deeply for his faith community and frequently gave to Christian charities. John will be remembered for being a devout, loving, and generous person who was always willing to help someone in need.

A celebration of John’s life will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Celebration Church Kenner, 3550 Williams Blvd. Kenner, LA. A memorial visitation will be held from 10AM-11AM with a service to begin at 11AM.
