John Joseph Constant Jr.

John Joseph Constant, Jr., 84, passed peacefully on December 22, 2017 at Berkeley Medical Center in West Virginia. Born March 8, 1933 in New Orleans, Louisiana, he was the son of the late John Joseph Constant Sr. and Mamie Brauch. John served in the United States Navy. He is survived by three children: Stephanie C. Boylan (Daniel) of Harpers Ferry, John M. Constant (Alissa) of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Cynthia Probst (Russell) of Ponchatoula, Louisiana; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Estella Soileau Constant; and his siblings: Dora Sabatier, Otto F. Krone, and Charles W. Constant. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Friday morning, January 5, 2018 at 11:00. Visitation will begin at 10:00. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.
