John Thomas Marchese

John Thomas Marchese, age 84, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010. Beloved husband of 60 years to Beatrice Musacchia Marchese. Loving father of Margaret Castro (Brizzio), Joan Thibodeaux (Glen) and the late baby John T. Marchese. Grandfather of Lynn Kaska (David), Brittany and Kyle Thibodeaux. Great grandfather of Thomas, Heather and Brooklyn Kaska. Brother of Tony Marchese (Ann) and the late Joe Marchese (Frances), Phillis DePaula (Steve), Frank Marchese (Lena), Lucy Monistere (Lawrence), Annie Nichlosi (Vincent), Kelly Marchese and Mary Lena Ridder (Vernon). A native of Hammond, LA and a resident of Jefferson Parish for the past 49 years. Mr. Marchese was a Parishioner of Our Lady Divine Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the chapel at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie on Monday, October 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 6-9 pm and after 9 am on Monday. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
