John Ynsua

He was born June 9, 1939, in Paterson, NJ to Manuel and Filomena Ynsua. He married Carol Ann Ynsua (Mutz) in May of 1962, and they settled and started a family in Kearny, NJ.

John proudly served in the United States Air Force as an electrician for 3 years spending time in California, Texas and Japan. He worked many years at Duro-Test Corp and then, after 27 years with Wayne Tool & Supply in Kearny as a Warehouse Manager, retired and moved to Bozeman, MT with Carol to be close to family. They eventually settled in Destrehan, LA.

John loved to travel and, along with Carol, spent many summers exploring the U.S. via car, tent and RV with their five children. The kids eventually moved throughout the country and the world, and nothing made him happier than traveling to see his children and grandchildren in Montana, Florida, Colorado, Louisiana, New Jersey and Prague, Czech Republic.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Manuel Jr.

John is survived by his wife, Carol; his sons, John and Michael (Jacy) and daughters, Valerie McGrath (Mark), Victoria Jeansonne (Beaux) and Veronica Sheckleton (Eric); seven grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

John will be laid to rest in Bozeman, MT with a private ceremony.
