Judy Dusang Bordelon

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse P. Bordelon Sr., her parents, Victor G. Dusang and Louise Voss Dusang, and her 9 siblings, Joan Rome, Joyce Caruso, Frank Dusang, Julius Dusang, Catherine Cassagne, Louis Dusang, Alfred Dusang, George Dusang, and Millie McCall.

She is survived by her children who cherish her memory, Julie B. Ruiz (James), Jesse P. Bordelon Jr. (Connie), Rachael B. Turchin, Sammy B. Hargroder (Don), Michael P. Bordelon, and Shannon Dardar. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren who she adored, as well as her siblings, Paul Dusang and Diane Relan.

Judy was a graduate of Nichols High School in New Orleans, LA. She loved being active, played volleyball for many years, and won several medals in the Senior Olympics. She was a natural caretaker who enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held from 11AM – 1PM with a prayer service to begin at 1PM. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
