Karen was a dear friend and neighbor.  I will miss her so much. Prayers for the family.

My heart is very heavy hearing the loss of my niece and God daughter.  My parents were beyond happy with the birth of Karen.  My Mom (her big MawMaw) called her Karrie and loved that they both loved the art of cooking and the color pink. Mom would go on and on about how she would share recipes with Karen and she would prepare the dish exactly like hers.  My father (her little PawPaw) called Karen, Karen me Tups, meaning she was a little extra special for him.  He wanted six children and was given four.  Karen was the first female grandchild and they were both delighted.  I am sure they are both attending her welcome home party in heaven.  She was a cherished child for sure.  She will be missed and the world is less of a great place without her.  May she enjoy her eternal life in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Condolences to all who knew and loved her. Karen worked for me at Winters Title for several years.  She was always kind and thoughtful.  I would also see her at Cafe Freret when my wife and I would go for breakfast and Karen always made sure we were well taken care of.  My condolences to her family!

Karen, I truly believe, was the definition of a quintessential daughter.  With the passing of her mother, and my wife, sixteen years ago, Karen became, in essence, my life partner.  She performed tasks about the house that Donna usually did, without being asked and never complained about same.
 During my ankle replacement convalescents Karen went way beyond what I would have expected from anyone.  She never complained about some of the more demanding aspects of my recovery.  It was during that extended period that I truly appreciated Karen’s true worth.  She was a giving person, always sacrificing a piece of herself for the better of others.  She truly made her mother proud.
The loss of a loving daughter is an immense heartache.  I’ll miss Karen’s joy at giving me wooded puzzles that I enjoy putting together.  I’ll miss our Saturday movie night with popcorn, while George our dog, lay equally upon Karen’s shoulder and the back of the recliner.  I’ll miss our dinners together after her workday.   I’ll miss her as my sous chef when I cooked meals.  Mostly I’ll miss Karen’s unconditional love.   Karen was truly of a pure heart, and I treasure the 55 years I had with her.  I firmly believe in my heart Karen is at peace with Donna.  May God bless both of them.

My deepest condolences to family, friends and coworkers of sweet Karen. She taught me how to do my job when I moved to the Finance department. She was so meticulous it was easy to catch on. 

I will dearly miss smelling all the wonderful dishes she cooked and brought to work to share...discussing how she made them... and the uproarous laughter coming from our break room that always reminded me it was time to take a lunch break.

I worked with Karen at Winters Title many moons ago.  She was the most thoughtful, caring person I’ve ever known.  We became fast friends and she even got me on the dart league she was on.  I haven’t seen her in years but I’ve missed our friendship.  I will miss her even more now.  Rest peacefully my beautiful friend.

I had the honor of hiring Karen at the FPA. She was the most thoughtful and giving person! She helped me learn to cook, and she bought me protective gloves after I cut my finger several times while chopping vegetables.  That was Karen. Always doing for and thinking of others. I am so grateful to have known her, and I send my deepest condolences to her family and to George!

Jack, she was always a kind spirited soul.  I loved talking to her about cooking when we would do those crappy as ATA’s at the restaurant she used to work for.  I especially loved it when she got me the turtle for turtle soup.  Damn brother it’s been a while and didn’t stay incredibly close but she made an impression on me and I’ll miss knowing that she is around.  This does suck.

My deepest sympathy for the family and other friends of Karen's. I worked with her for the last 6 years and love her dearly. We would cut up with each other the way 2 old friends would each time I ran into her. She made it fun to go see her, even with a work related problem. If you went to her with a problem, you didn't leave with one. She took care of whatever like a Mama takes care of her children. She was a giver and a generous one at that. I'm gonna miss the banter we had, the funny stories we shared and running off with her groceries when I would see her at the store. Thank God you didn't suffer long Karen, RIP my friend. 
P.S. I'm going to still feed the crows peanuts in your memory, I love you girl.
