Karen Ann Galiano Macaluso, age 68, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away at home surrounded by family and friends on Friday, May 2, 2025. Wife of Craig Steven Macaluso, of 32 years. Daughter of the late Josephine Canal Galiano and Norvin Basil Galiano, Sr. Mother of Basil Vincent Macaluso. Sister to Norvin Basil Galiano, Jr. (Holly), Connie Galiano Toepfer (Chris), and the late JoAnn Galiano. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Karen grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana where she led a nursing career spanning 48 years. She touched many families through swimming. She has been a church member of Lakeview Christian Center since 2002 where she has brought many people to the Lord through her undeniable faith.
A memorial visitation for Karen will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Lakeview Christian Center, 5885 Fleur De Lis Drive, New Orleans, Louisiana 70124, followed by a celebration of life at 10:30 AM.
