Keith Michael Gravois

Keith Michael Gravois, a resident of River Ridge, Louisiana, was born in New Orleans on August 15, 1953, and passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 72. Keith grew up in Old Metairie and graduated from East Jefferson High School. Shortly after graduation, he began working in heavy equipment and also worked for Wallace C. Drennan, Inc Concrete Co, where he met his wife Joanne. His career moved into the automotive repair industry where he worked for Gresse's Automotive up until his retirement after 30 plus years of service. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with friends and family and was also a father figure to many people who came into his life.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Henry Gravois, III and Margaret Bird Gravois; and his 2 brothers, Charles Henry Gravois, IV and George Barry Gravois, Sr.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 45 years, Joanne M. Gravois; his daughters, Candice G. Leonard and husband Justin Leonard and Jamie G. Hingle and husband Kevin Hingle; his grandchildren, Carter Leonard, Avery Leonard, and Ethan Hingle; his siblings, Donna Meyer (Rodney), Wendy Furr (Michael), and Terry Gravois (Laura), and his sister-in-law, Terry Gravois. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 3:00 until 6:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held in the chapel at 6:00 PM.
