

Born and raised in Harahan, Kevin is survived by brother John D. Boudreaux, Jr., niece Lauren Boudreaux (Matt) and nephew John D. Boudreaux III, all residents of the New Orleans area, Paul K. Levy (Heidi) of Pinetop, AZ and treasured nephews U.S. Army Major Kristopher Levy (Paige) of Pinehurst, NC and Travis A. Levy of Katy, TX.
Other family members include Anne Levy (Wayne Kanuch) of Katy, TX, Carolyn Mayo of Fairhope, AL, Dianne Strasser Hecker (John), Nathan Thomas (Jessica) of Alto, NM, Nakayla Bibanco (Rico) of Aurora, CO, and Destiny Elkin (Jeff) of Carlsbad, CA. and S.E. Coxe Mixon of Watson, LA.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years Michel Levy Boudreaux, father John Douglas Boudreaux, Sr. and mother Nettie Coxe Boudreaux, all of Harahan, LA.
Kevin’s career in club management included Colonial Country Club in Harahan and the New Orleans Petroleum Club. He joined Michel at Mike Levy and Associates life insurance business after his club management career and together they worked with agents, underwriters, and clients nationally. In addition, Kevin was a devoted caregiver to Michel through her journey of kidney disease.
Kevin was a long-time member and leader in the Harahan Gourmet Club, serving in many volunteer roles. True to his love of entertaining, he relished planning and hosting group events in his home and at clubs, restaurants and inns in New Orleans and the surrounding area. Every detail was attended to, from the polish of silver to floral decorations. Kevin also loved the pageant and revelry of Mardi Gras, was a past member of Bacchas and avidly followed the announcement of Rex royalty each year.
Kevin and his late wife Michel loved to travel, visit, and make memories at resorts around the country, including Houmas House Estate and Gardens in Darrow, LA, the Cloister on Sea Island, GA and the Grand Hotel Point Clear, AL. But his most treasured were the many trips to visit his nephews Kris and Travis.
Kevin attended the University of New Orleans (now LSUNO) and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He was an active member of the Beta Zeta chapter of Delta Sigma Pi fraternity, serving as social chair and where his affinity of hospitality blossomed. He graduated John Curtis Christian School in River Ridge, LA.
Kevin will be interred at Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans, LA at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 11. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the graveside service. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held later that day from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. The by-invitation gathering will be held at his favorite spot, Joey K’s restaurant.
