Leigh Buist Claiborne Perrilliat Flettrich

Leigh Buist Claiborne Perrilliat Flettrich died in Covington on February 19, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents Howard A. K. Perrilliat and Jennifer Buist, by her granddaughter Baby Curren and her oldest stepdaughter Robin F. Bono. Survivors include: her husband, Robert George Flettrich, and her children, Mary-Leigh Curren Cassidy (Hugh), Howard "Perri" Perrilliat Curren (Christa) and John Gerard Curren, III (Becky); her grandchildren, Jennifer-Leigh Wolfe, Elizabeth A.C. Wolfe, Patrick G. Curren, Timothy P. Wolfe, Jr., Brynleigh G. Curren and Olivia C. Curren; step-children, Lisa F. Miller, Robert G. Flettrich, Jr. and Zahn F. Kehoe; step-grandchildren, Matthew D. Bassett, Brandon J. Bono, Courtney J. Bono, Alexandra G. Flettrich and Janie M. Boteler; step-great granddaughter, Evangeline Grace Bassett. Leigh was born on September 28, 1942 in New Orleans. She is a graduate of the Academy of Sacred Heart and Newcomb College where she is a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity. She was a member of the Junior League of New Orleans and spent many years in fund development for local non-profit organizations including Associated Catholic Charities. Leigh always enjoyed traveling and playing golf with her favorite partner, Bobby. She enjoyed the Mardi Gras Season and all of it's festivities since she was a child. She found true joy in entertaining, especially her family and her many friends. Leigh, "Mimi", will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Metairie. Burial will be private.
